Or his extended round magazine could have been illegal and much harder for him to get, which could have meant fewer or no people were shot. And the person trying to shoot him in the hand or wrist could have just as easily hit a bystander, making things worse, or the person trying to shoot him could have been shot by police or another armed bystander who thought he was the original shooter. Basically, the more guns and bullets involved, the worse the outcome is likely to be. LaPierre and the folks who believe they can stop shooters with their own guns are unrealistic at best and delusional at worst.
